Course syllabus

Mental Health Awareness training creates a safe learning environment for your staff to understand mental health, poor mental health and mental illness and how it can effect staff within the workplace.

Course outcomes 

After the training, your employees will be able to: 

  • Understand what mental health is and the difference between poor mental health and mental illness
  • Awareness of poor mental health signs and symptoms
  • Tools and strategies to prevent poor mental health
  • What the organisation and employees can do to support each other
  •  Resources that are available to support poor mental health
  • Practise self-care 
Format  
  • Online or face-to-face course structured across 2-4 hours depending on topic highlights
  • Learning takes place through a mix of instructor led training, group discussions, individual and group activities. 
  • We limit numbers to 25 people per course so that instructors can keep people safe and supported while they learn. 
  • We strive for all of our learning content to be as accessible and inclusive as possible.
